About Amit Saini:

Amit Saini is a journalist and media entrepreneur from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. He is the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of The X India and the founder of Samachar Today, a digital news initiative that contributed to the evolution of local digital journalism.

He received the prestigious 40 Under 40 Award in 2022 for his contribution to journalism and media leadership.

With over a decade of experience across print, television, and digital media, Amit Saini has held key editorial and production roles. He worked with Bhaskar News, where he progressed from Producer to Senior Producer, gaining strong newsroom management experience. He later worked with India Crime News channel, strengthening his specialization in crime and ground reporting.

During the 2013 Muzaffarnagar (UP) riots, he reported on the ground as a Crime Reporter with Amar Ujala, covering sensitive and high-risk developments at the grassroots level.
